You want great results when you train and play hard – right?
Physiotherapy is the right choice for getting and keeping you on track, and it is important to make the right choice of physiotherapist. There is a sea of therapists out there and not all physiotherapy is the same.
Our physiotherapist, Gillian Tews, is a CAMPT-Certified and GUNN-IMS Certified Physiotherapist. She does not use passive modalities . as a ‘go-to’ treatment so she can see someone else while you’re lying there hooked up to a machine. Every session with Gillian is 100% direct care.
Why choose a CAMPT-Certified physiotherapist to help you achieve your health and fitness goals? Never heard of CAMPT? Click here to learn about the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapists or CAMPT!
With a CAMPT-Certified physiotherapist, you can be assured your therapist has several years of clinical experience (been around the block) and has done extensive training and successfully achieved internationally recognized qualifications (highly skilled with hands-on treatment). A CAMPT-Certified physiotherapist can help identify your ‘weak-links’ that are holding you back from feeling good and moving well.
Why choose a GUNN-IMS Certified physiotherapist to help you feel and move better? This one is tricky, because Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) is not a protected name for this dry-needling technique. ANYONE with a needle can say they offer IMS!
GUNN-IMS, however is a trademarked name only for physiotherapists and doctors who have been trained by Dr. Chan Gunn in the original technique. GUNN-IMS Certified physiotherapists have at least 4+ years of clinical experience, acupuncture certification and / or Level 4 Manual Therapy before even being accepted into the training program!
Gillian Tews is both CAMPT-Certified and GUNN-IMS Certified.
At InFOCUS Wellness Inc. (dba KINESIOLOGISTS.CA), we offer 100% Direct-Care Physiotherapy. You will never be attached to a modality or sent to do exercises and left alone while the Gillian treats another person.
*CAMPT-Certified is a trademark of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy and is used with their permission.

New Forte Lifestyle Bootcamp
Forte Bootcamp is not your average exercise class. We combine powerful fat burning full body movements with an active focus on what we call “adaptation”. Adaptation is what you do outside of the gym (including sleep, nutrition & handling adversity), which ultimately determines your success in the gym & life. Showing up to a class twice a week is much less than half of the battle, especially without a strong support network or resources. Upon registering, you’ll receive your Forte success handbook, written by certified personal trainers Brock Phillips & Courtney Moran, so we can all speak the same language. We take on anybody who is ready to make a change, you do not need to be an intermediate in the gym – rest assured we will help and educate you along your journey. We consider this bootcamp to be “semi-personal training”, in the sense that we can work very closely with everybody that registers because we limit our intake at 12 per class.
