ICBC Kinesiology Sessions

Active Rehab Services (ICBC & Private Insurance)

ICBC Kinesiology Sessions

ICBC / Kinesiology Sessions:  After your initial assessment (see Intake Process below), we create an individualized active rehab program tailored to your injury, work demands, and lifestyle. Your program focuses on improving balance, posture, and stability through education and progressive exercise. Our goal is to give you the skills and techniques you need to reduce pain and restore your quality of life.

During your active rehab sessions, we teach you how to perform your exercises confidently and independently. The number of sessions you need depends on the severity of your injury. When you complete your program, we provide exercises that support your posture, mobility, and strength so you can continue progressing in your daily activities.

To ensure your sessions receive approval before you begin, please call us to book your first appointment.

KINESIOLOGISTS.CA Intake Process

After your initial assessment, we recommend the number of sessions you may need and outline your plan of action for approval.

Your assessment includes:

  • Reviewing your medical history and treatments since the accident
  • Discussing your perceived limitations (OSWESTRY, Neck Disability Index), goals, and work status
  • Completing pre‑screening (heart rate and blood pressure)
  • Performing movement screens (including several based on FMS protocols)
  • Testing range of motion
  • Measuring isometric strength, muscular endurance, and cardiovascular endurance

Once your sessions receive approval, we begin your individualized ICBC / Kinesiology Sessions program. Throughout your sessions, we teach you how to perform your exercises independently. The number of sessions required to reach this point depends on your injury.
