Fitness Theory
BCRPA Fitness Theory Online Course
This is the first course in the BCRPA certification process for becoming an instructor for weight training, group classes, older adult/seniors, or personal training. If you have some experience training and basic fitness theory knowledge, then this course option is for you. This course will increase your knowledge in the areas of anatomy, physiology and how the body functions / responds to exercise. Our Fitness Theory course prepares you to pass the BCPRA written provincial exam (60 questions, 60 minutes) through proctoru.com or at the KINESIOLOGISTS.CA Studio. The ONLINE Course includes:
- Thirteen (13) online assignments and is a self paced (1 year access).
- Access to Assignments 1 and 2 is immediately after payment is processed (download the “OPEN FIRST” document from the link in your purchase receipt).
- You will be sent an email with access to all assignments within 24 hours.

Weight
BCRPA Weight Training Online Course
Take your weight training knowledge to a whole new level with this online course. This online course:
- Is typically the 2nd course taken in the BCRPA Certification Process.
- Takes the average student around 20-35 hours to complete (many complete the course in 3 weeks).
- Designed for people with some basic weight lifting / training experience.

- Fifteen (15) online assignments and is self-paced (1 year access). Access to the course assignments will be sent in a separate email once payment is processed.
- You will need to create and upload (i.e. google drive) 15 videos for technique evaluation for this course.

PT
BCRPA Personal Training Online Course
This is the final course in the steps to becoming a BCRPA recognized and insured Personal Trainer. Build upon the knowledge you have gained in the previous BCRPA certification courses as it applies to the Personal Trainer. We will cover anatomy, physiology, program design, health clearance practices, common injuries, common health conditions, fitness assessing, best business practices and so much more. This online course:

- Is typically the 3nd course taken in the BCRPA Certification Process.
- Takes the average student around 30-40 hours to complete (many have completed the course in a few weeks).
- Designed for people with fitness training experience / background and know what the job of a personal trainer entails.

- Eighteen (18) online assignments and is self-paced (1 year access). Several of the assignments are very short. Access to the course reading and assignments will be sent in a separate email once payment is processed.
- You will need to create and upload (i.e. google drive) 6-10 videos for technique evaluation and confirmation of understanding for this course.
- There is no manual for the course as the course reading is combined with each online assignment available through the learning portal.
- Cost: $549.99+GST

BCRPA Group Fitness Course
Our online BCRPA approved Group Fitness course is designed for those interested in leading Bootcamp or Circuit Training classes or currently teaching Zoomba, Spin or HIIT classes without insurance! It is highly recommended you complete the BCRPA Weight Training certification prior to registering for this course due to the strong focus on exercises and techniques. The ONLINE Course includes:
