KINESIOLOGISTS.CA Studio – Cloverdale is now offering personal trainers the opportunity to train clients without the worry and hassle about being a member or their client’s having to be a member of a specific gym with the Independent Trainer Program (ITP)!
A very limited number of independent trainers will be allowed to train clients at our Studio, so call and find out more before it is too late!

What are the minimum certification requirements to register at the KINESIOLOGISTS.CA Studio (Surrey) as an Independent Trainer?
Answer: Initially, we’ll need to determine if you possess the correct certification(s) and are carrying the proper amount of insurance coverage. Many personal trainers believe they are fully certified and covered, but are not. We require copies of the following:

- Valid Personal Training Certification (BCRPA, NSCA, CSCS, ACE, etc.)
- Need a certification or need to renew?
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Minimum $2 Million Insurance as a Personal Trainer

What is the fee to train my clients at the KINESIOLOGISTS.CA – Studio?
Answer: Currently, the fee is based upon a 1 client or 2 clients at the same session.

- Single Session (60 minute): $15+GST (as of January 1, 2021)
- Doubles Session (60 minute): $22+GST (as of January 1, 2021)
- Here is a quick breakdown: If you charge your client $70 per training session, you will take home $55 of your fee (almost 80%!). Many gyms currently pay the trainer $25-35 or less per session.

Am I required to purchase a membership as well as paying a drop-in fee to use the Studio?
Answer: That is the beauty of this opportunity – NO!
Will my client need to purchase a membership at the Studio?
Answer: No! Only the drop-in fee outlined above is paid. We actually do not offer memberships at our studios – personal training only.
Will I be considered a member of the KINESIOLOGISTS.CA Team?
Answer: You will be considered an independent trainer. You’ll have to find your own clients, use you own forms and collect payments yourself, but we are here to help you grow your training business! We simply provide access to our beautiful training studio.
Is there a minimum charge to use the facility or a minimum number of clients I have to train each week/month?
Answer: Currently, there is no minimum charge and no minimum sessions. Even if you train only once per month, you will not be required to pay an additional fee.
Once I have completed my registration with KINESIOLOGISTS.CA Studio, what do I do next?
Answer: Once you have signed the forms you will be required to pre-book all sessions at the studio to prevent overbooking. Bookings are done on a first come, first served basis. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be billed at the full rate regardless of reason due to the demand of the program.
How am I billed? Do I pay every time I show up?
Answer: The appropriate fee will paid prior to engaging in your session(s) for the day. Following a 3 month probationary period and depending on your volume of sessions, you may become eligible for weekly/monthly billing payment.
Is there a probationary period? What rules will I have to follow while training in the studio?
Answer: Yes, there is a 3 month probationary period to ensure a good fit with the KINESIOLOGISTS.CA Studio and fellow trainers. You will be required to sign an agreement which outlines the appropriate code of conduct.
Will I be able to put the KINESIOLOGISTS.CA address on my business cards?
Answer: We do not condone using the address on business cards/brochures until after the 3 month probationary period. Approval will be made on a trainer-by-trainer basis only. If you include the address without approval, you may be revoked access to the facility all together.
Will I be able to put up my own advertising in the KINESIOLOGISTS.CA studio?
Answer: You’ll have the opportunity to be added to the website to let others know what your specialty areas are and your particular area of expertise.
